Experienced QA Engineer (Israel)

We are looking for an Experienced QA Engineer to join our Dev team!

Job Description

  • Execute manual test suites for new Ravello features at the development phase, open bugs and improvements and "enforce" feature quality.
  • Devising detailed test documents for new Ravello features, to be implemented and integrated in Ravello's automation test suites.
  • Exploratory testing of new Ravello features and technologies that are running on top of Ravello's platform.
  • Reproduction of issues discovered by the field and transforming them into actionable bug reports.
  • Work closely with PM & RnD to understand new feature sets of the product and at times pass the knowledge to other functions in the company.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of QA work in a highly technical company
  • Deep understanding of QA methodology and flow
  • Ability to quickly self-learn new technologies and take the driver's seat on short and long term assignments.
  • Deep experience in at least one of the following fields:
    • Networking (L2/L3/L4+)
    • Storage
    • Virtualization (ESXi / KVM / Xen / Hyper-V)
    • Network security
  • Good understanding and working experience of the Linux and Windows operating systems.
  • Experience in writing test-plans and accompanying a feature from early stages all the way to customer usage
  • Graduate of a major university or technological unit in the IDF
  • Good communication and team work skills
  • Good understanding of complex systems, and good analysis/troubleshooting skills (e.g. using system logs)

Additional Skills (Advantages)

  • Experience working with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and/or Google Compute Platform (GCP) and/or Microsoft Azure
  • Experience working for a SaaS company with high change rate, preferably for a startup
  • Experience working in a test-automation centric environment

Senior Software Engineer - Networking (Israel)

In this position you will join our core engineering team and take a central role in the design, development and maintenance of our high performance overlay networking solution.

You will also have the opportunity to work on our storage solution, as well as our hypervisor management agent.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of extensive network solution/protocols development in Linux
  • Deep knowledge of L2 and L3 network protocols and understanding of relevant appliances
  • Experience with C/C++ on Linux
  • B.Sc/M.Sc from a major university or alumni of a technological unit in the IDF

Nice to haves

  • Experience with Python on Linux
  • Experience in visualization, cloud, SDN and new tunneling protocols such as VXLAN and NVGRE
  • Experience with virtualized network interfaces device implementations
  • Experience with troubleshooting production network deployments
  • Experience with writing test code in various levels (unit, integration and system)

Experienced Server-Side Applications Developer (Israel)

Requirements

  • 3+ years of Java Programming
  • 3+ years of experience in implementing enterprise server side applications
  • Server side enterprise frameworks (Spring, Java, Java EE, Hibernate, etc.)

In this position you will join our core engineering team and take a central role in the design, development and maintenance our overlay virtualization solution which includes overlay storage solution, overlay network solution and hypervisor management agent.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of C/C++ on Linux, Linux system programming
  • Expertise in Linux networking (TCP/IP, Ethernet) and/or storage systems
  • Experience in scripting languages on Linux (Python, Shell scripts, etc.)

We are looking for a motivated student to join our Support organization!

This is a part-time position. The successful candidate will have an opportunity to influence and be an integral and critical part of the global Customer Support team. Great performance in this role may lead to a full time job opportunity!

Responsibilities

  • Lead the tier-1 and on-call efforts during shifts
  • Be the first contact of any support ticket from Ravello users
  • Provide troubleshooting support to remote end users
  • Maintains current knowledge and procedures within the support organization
  • Provide basic technical troubleshooting, i.e., receiving, assigning, escalating, resolving, tracking and reporting of customer technical issues
  • Be able to perform proper incident handling and reporting of customer issues

Job requirements

  • B.A/B.Sc. student at their 2nd year of studies (preferably computer related studies)
